At the heart of the concert lies Media vita, an 11th-century Gregorian antiphon reimagined in a modern setting by Kerensa Briggs. Around this central piece unfolds a rich programme that weaves together Renaissance masterpieces by William Byrd, Carlo Gesualdo, and Raphaella Aleotti with contemporary works by Henryk Mikołaj Górecki, Paweł Łukaszewski, and Owain Park himself. This programme places intricate polyphonic writing in dialogue with refined modern harmonies.
